I had a moment of appreciation for my zl1 when I started it up this morning. Of course, the throaty, burbling idle is a magical sound. What I noticed today, though, was the initial starter sound "whee, whee, whee, whee - growl". The combination of the whee-whee with the startup growl just put a huge smile on my face.

What an amazing car this is.

When I went to pick up my car the salesman rode with me on the first drive.He was an old friend and when I started the car for the first time I told him it sounded like the old Chrysler starters.He said "Don't Say That'!
After my first ride and ever since I don't hear Chrysler I hear Badass Ride.

I love to remote start mine while people are around it usually makes them jump..... makes me smile.

As I demonstrated the sound of my Zed to some of my friends, one of their kids fell to the ground upon ignition. Quite unexpected. I am sure the new 2014 Zeds exhausts will be tuned down. Way to loud and love it.

Love the snap crackle and pop from the exhaust produced during some of the gear shifts. My 2000 SS did the same but only on revving. is anyone annoyed by the exhausts pops ??

the exhaust note is definitely one of, if not my favorite things about this car. There is nothing that compares to it.

yup I got the DM exhaust as well on my Dusk it makes other Camaro owners ask if it is stock every time. even without the SC it sounds awesome.

My garage is next to the kitchen. Everytime I start it up, my wife says it rattles the glasses in the cabinets. I love it!
