Registration update: 100 registrants as of 9/25. 50% sellout for this event. Currently the Blue Oval boys are leading in the car count 69-31. Camaro owners need to step up, any generation is welcome. Less than 60 days to the event, DO NOT PROCRASTINATE, with a 50% sellout this early, you need to get registered soon if you want to be a part of this inaugural event. Pass the word around to all your Camaro owner friends to help make this a successful charity event.

250 views, How many signups? At last count there is only 85 TOTAL registrations left for our inaugural show. Spots are going fast, custom made trophies are finished and will be highly coveted by those who are lucky enough to earn one. The past weekend we have secured, for display, a 68 Camaro Pro-Mod drag car and are searching for a comparable Mustang to display during the event. DJ is lined up, Food Trucks will be on site provided a variety of delicious fare. What's stopping you from joining in on the fun? Click the link and prepare for an exciting day of your favorite cars and trash talking the Blue Oval folks.

14Black, Thank you for supporting our event and our charity. We look forward to seeing you at the show.
Received an update on the show registration and we are well on our way to our 200 car goal. The unfortunate part is: the Blue Oval boys are showing the Bowtie brigade up, to the tune of 89-46 on the car count. As loyal Camaro owners, this should not be acceptable. I am issuing a challenge to all the C. Fl. Camaro owners and those who have viewed this post to step up and register for the event and support a worthy charity: Give Kids The World Village. Come out and display your pride and joy, show off all those mods you have done. Be a part of the inaugural Camaro/Mustang Throwdown. There can only be one "First Time" for an event, why not be part of history and possible bragging rights as a winner of one of the custom made trophies being awarded. Follow the link to register for the show and we hope to see you on Nov. 21st. http://events.r20.constantcontact.co...&llr=kzwhflcab |

Camaro vs. Mustang Throw-Down updates
On behalf of the “Give Kids the World Village” and the Throw-Down Committee Staff, we would like to thank everyone for their well wishes and support. This is looking to be a wonderful fund raising event for the Give Kids the World Village and one heck of a car show. Due to the fact that we are quickly approaching the limit for vehicles that can be safely parked within the Hooters property we will be closing down pre-registration a little... earlier than anticipated. November 8, 2015 will be the last day for Pre-registration. We will make every effort to accept as many “Day of Show” registrations as possible. As it turns out, because of the response we have been receiving, we should be able to obtain additional space adjoining the show area to include late comers and day of show entrants. So come on out! Two other additions to the venue, Hooters is going to provide a breakfast menu from 9am to 11am to serve those who had to leave a bit early and didn’t get an opportunity to wolf down some eggs and bacon. We also will have a local artist on hand who will create an awesome caricature of your car at a very affordable price. 25% of the proceeds from the artwork will go to Give Kids the World Village. That’s it for now. Again we want to thank you all for your support and we look forward to seeing you all at the Throw-Down on November 21, 2015 at Hooters of Sanford. |
