Arrow ? Please post, Oil Pressure, & Water Temp. Here

Z51 Dry Sump Only Please post. (If you can't resist please say NonZ51.)

My car is at 3400 miles, so far it has run at about 30 PSi Oil Pressure, & 220 F. Water Temp.

I'm interested in the results for other Z51 Dry Sumps. Could this be normal?

If anyone has Chevrolet data on this please post!

I'm at 220 F and oil pressure varies with 30 psi very common. The temperature warm-up is fast even though 40 F is the coldest we've had since I had the car.

Ditto.

We picked it up Thursday at the Museum and drove 1330 miles back to Austin over 2 days.

Mine runs at 30 too or slightly lower which concerned me as I had a MBenz engine destroyed at that pressure. However it seems like we all are running about the same plus there is a low oil pressure alarm indicator on the Z51 that is supposed to tell when there is trouble I wonder at what pressure the alarm indicates?

With three weeks of daily driving under my belt, mine is consistently 40psi at cold start, dropping to 30psi at warm idle. Normal coolant temp is 220 degrees afteer warm-up. Oil pressure does increase some as rpms increase. Engine purrs like a kitten at idle, roars like a tiger with pedal mashed. Hasn't used a drop of oil in 1600 miles, oil still looks brand new. I'm going to go out on a limb and say this is the norm for the C7.

So...what's happening here?

Plus start up when cold car shakes REALLY bad, almost thought it would stall.
