Interior differences - other than leather - between 1SS and 2SS
I said in my other thread that I'm looking to buy a 1SS, but now I am rethinking.... there is so much more stuff on the 2SS, and it looks like I may be able to get into one for just a Grand or so more. One thing I don't like on the 1SS is the console knee pads are hard plastic, as are most of the door panels. On the 2SS it looks like the console pads are, well, padded - what about the doors? Any more padding on those compared to 1SS?

Believe the thread below will answer your question. 1SS knee pads are easily replaced with 2SS pads

if you can truly get a 2ss for a grand or so more it is a no brainer, the interior on a 2ss is amazing.

the "leather" on the doors, knee pads, center console lid, the dash feel good to the touch, but damn is it hard, there is maybe a 1/8" thick foam under it. I wish they had added more padding to these areas as I rest my elbows on them; and my arms get worn out by the lack of padding.
