Anyone going for the V6???

If I had it my way there'd be no V6 Camaro, just V8's. But hey, gotta make the new Camaro affordable for everyone right? So who's considering the V6? I heard we'll have two V6 options, hoping it's only one though.

I was actually thinking about this earlier today. If they came out with a V-6 that got 300+HP and had substantial fuel benefits over that of a V-8 and cost significantly less then i would consider it. However, it would take an aweful lot to keep me from getting my Z/28 (or SS, whichever it may be)

I saw a blk C6 Z06 all tinted up w/ the polished wheel option explode onto the 5 freeway yesterday heading home, I could have peed on myself!!! In that moment I thought how incredible it would be if the Camaro SS had/has the same effect visually? I'm thinking they'll suceed, and still manage to deliver a performance vehicle that delivers 26 mpg on the highway, just like the C6 Z06.

LOL Not many on these forums would rather have a V6 but the majority of the buying public will - the survival depends on it

Very good, and true points.

A V6, entry-level, more affordable Camaro, appealing to first-time buyers, is essential for the Camaro's success.

It was true back then, and this time around as well boss. I saw more V-6 RS models than Z's or SS's combined.

Just build them GM!!...............OH, and HURRY UP!!!

Hence the reason I posted the question. Not everyone thinks the same way we do.

I'd feel defeated if I bought a V6. Im keeping my lil toy car for my daily driver, so why not have the V8? You only get one chance at this life. Spend all the chips!
