I would imagine there will never ever be another Z/28. That bodes well for us current owners!

Spokesman Trevor Thompkins said he can't say anything more about a future Camaro. “We're not saying anything specific right now,” he said.

If GM revives the Camaro, it almost certainly will be electric, said Stephanie Brinley, an associate director with S&P Global Mobility. “It would be unlikely to see another internal combustion engine vehicle,” she said.

After '24 Chevrolet will not have a front engine, rear wheel drive "performance" vehicle for the 1st time in 70 years. How frickin' pathetic!

That's gm for you. Just another reason why Ford and dodge constantly outsells gm over and over again regardless

My post back in 2021

Interesting to read about the past. Truly great time for ICE cars back then. I’ve stated here before this 2014/2015 Z/28 is going to be really special. I believe this will be the last ICE Z/28. As long as Chevy is around, they will revive the Z/28 badge again. This time it will be the new future pointing electric Z/28. It will be the fastest Z/28 in history. It will be the best handling Camaro in history. Like it or not that’s the way the wind is blowing now.

20 years from now when we drive our ICE Z/28 next to a young whipper snapper with a E-Z/28, the young man in that car will say, “Now that car got a soul of a real Z/28.”

Mustang S650 will be the only muscle car for purchase.

GM invested in V8 plants mostly for trucks/SUVs but why not for Camaros too?

Progress towards what?

EVs have been around side by side with ICE for over 100 years.
