To all of you who replied to my post “buying question”... Thank you. We just got home from the dealership. Purchased the 2020 2SS 1LE I mentioned in my earlier post. Got a fair deal on my trade in and $1000 dealer discount, $1500 GM cash back and $1020 healthcare worker discount. Being that the 1LE seems to be well sought after and inventory over all is low, I’m very comfortable with these numbers. The sales manager said a minimum of 3 weeks before it comes in so they are letting me continue to drive my current 2SS until then even tho it now belongs to them. Now the waiting begins....
And thanks to my wonderful husband for his support in buying something we both know I really didn’t “need” but REALLY wanted.

Congratulations on your upgrade

I ordered my 2SS back in 2018 and the wait was indeed the hard part, although Becky D's updates made it as much fun as sitting and checking specs and photos and reviews after hours the umpteenth time can be

These 3 weeks will hopefully just fly for you.

May I ask why you have to wait 3 weeks? From reading
your post, I assumed you purchased it off the lot. Apparently not. Congrats on your new car!

The car is in transit from the factory. They ship vehicles on their schedule, not as they are purchased. I just didn’t want to risk losing it. 😀

Thanks! Shadow gray metallic, which was my second color choice. Black is my first choice but the closest one is in Florida.

As much as I like black cars I really think the 1le package shines with the other colors and contrast. I've seen on shadow gray non 1le and it really did look nice. I think you will love it.

Also easier to clean than black.

I picked up my 1LE the very day it came off the truck, bought it on the spot because didn't want to risk loosing out on it. Good luck and hopefully the wait won't be too bad.
