Anyone install their own remote start?

I have an 04 cavalier as my DD and I want to put a remote starter in it. I don't have funding to have it installed for me, and I am contemplating doing it myself. The unit itself is around 40 bucks on amazon. With my points it wouldn't cost me anything. Just curious to see if anyone else has done it.

I have the schematic of what wires are what.

I'm not sure I'd hook that thing up.....I mean with car thieves nowadays....and it being a 04 Cavalier.......pretty valuable to leave running.....just my opinion

Lol. It's a hot ride, especially the custom paint where it looks like half of the paint is faded....you pay extra for that.

I want to put it in, and in the event I get rid of the car, I can take it out and move to another vehicle.
