Actually it will be tomorrow. Ordering cycles start on Thursday and end on Tuesday. So yes....no other Camaro orders the previous ordering cycle.

Has Chevy indicated whether the significant constraints on the A10 are expected to continue for the later DOSPs? I'm assuming the constraints that were issued last Thursday (89 A10s for coupes) was for the 12/22-12/27 DOSP only, but don't know that for sure... hoping we won't see the same level of constraints for the later order cycles... thanks

If I currently have an order in at status 1100, and my dealer does not get an allocation in the next Feb 9 cycle, am I able to transfer the order to another dealer who might have an allocation available? Or do I have to cancel the first and reorder with the new dealer.....am getting desperate!

Kinda weird the long waits between. They have too many Camaros as it is. They could just build every single ZL1 order with no delay, lots if production space on their line

I guess I'll be on the February 9th order date since mine was not picked up and I was the second order. Still never heard from the dealer either. I guess when your car won't come in for some time your put on the back burner.

My dealer told me my allocation was for 12/22 but he said it was for 2 weeks. I guess i have to call them to find out what happened. I hope they are not messing with me.

I can tell you there are many issues where first production runs / launch affect the initial numbers...I'm sure there are those in the know who could share the 411 but it's always tight lipped. These first cars are likely on a crawl, so they can walk & then run. Heck, I have no idea how many orders are even expected to get picked up Feb 9th vs. how many are actually in the 1100 line up, other than I am one myself. Just part of the game. Hell, I sent a text to my salesman & GM about the Feb 9 date after not getting picked up this go round...I've stated in other threads that these guys are worried about sales for today & tomorrow. I do not begrudge the for it, plus they are all to aware I'm on top of the situation due to this forum. I would recommend you do the same & be the guy who understands/communicates the process, reach out to them first, stay on top of it & let them know you won't be dismissed because the sale isn't on this week's radar. The consumer & the dealer have no control of GM's process...all we can do is use the 411 from this site to keep our order in both our's & the dealer's radar for the duration. I've waited over 4 decades for my first real sports car, missing the Dec pull in while being the #1 A10 allocation doesn't bother me all that much. It would have been nice, but it will get here. |
