Age doesn't matter, I'm 66 and can't wait to get behind the wheel of my C7. I had a 69 Stingray when I was 22 but I'm sure the 2014 is going to be a lot more fun to own.

28 here. Always had the philosophy that the fine things in life should be had when younger and not older as society generally advocates. Make my own money and worked my ass for this car. My dad tells me I'm crazy for spending 70g on a car I thought your crazy to have waited till you were in your fifties to wait to own ur dream bike. To each their own .

Sold my 67 Corvette when I was 44, figured it was time for another one. Traded my Cadillac CTS-V coupe for the Corvette |

47 here. I've owned a '74 Stingray since I was 26, and still have it. I had a couple of friends killed in car accidents in their 20s and decided to enjoy my life in the "now" as much as hard work would allow me to afford. I'd wanted a Corvette since I was very little, and bought the '74 as a beater. Spent most of the 21 years wrenching on it, paying off with a magazine feature in 2010. Throughout, I eyed getting a second, newer Corvette, but none really struck me. I did buy a used 2002 coupe, but only had it a couple years. Once the C7 was introduced, that was IT, and ordered 3 weeks later, price unknown. I'm in architecture and my field was very hard hit in the recession, but felt we were on the mend well enough to pursue the new Stingray. I have not regretted the decision! If times get slow, I'll seek additional work as necessary in order to keep my dreams.

Good to see lots of younger people buying corvettes. I bought my first corvette c6 when I was around 25.

53 here and about to order my 6th Corvette as a retirement gift to myself. Bought my first one when I was 21 and my first brand new one when I was 23 - When I bought my first one, I liked it so much, I made it a goal to have my first new one by the time I was 25 - decided that I couldn't wait, so I decided to go ahead and do it for my 23rd birthday - was going to be a brand new 1983 - well, since we all know what happened to that dream, I had to wait for a 84 to hit the showroom -

I'm 23 and I bought my Camaro all on my own at 22. I'm planning on buying my first corvette on my own by 25. I have my eyes on a c6. Always loved those cars!

Congrats to the new generation of Corvette owners. I too had my first Corvette in my twenties..... way back in the 70's (58 now) The majority of Corvette owners were in their 20's back then. Good to see you guys liking the Marque and keeping it alive long term when many of us here are driving rocking chairs!
FYI, If you lookup the median income in 77 compared to the base price of a C3 that year and do it for 2014 and a C7. Not a lot of difference, percentage wise. |

72. First corvette. You can't take it with you and I like performance cars. So far, '68 Charger RT 440, 2001 M3, 2006 335i with Dinan, now the best, C 7 !
