Today I went to 4300. According to my dealer, "Kerbeck", she is coming by train. It seems this is a new delivery process for them. I wish they would just put it on a truck!!!

I went 3000 about the same time on a vert. I am thinking that Thanksgiving put a wrinkle in the process. I am getting mine from Autonation in Delray.

Order went to 3100 last week, but I didn't get started until 11/11.
I ordered a Blade Silver Z51, 2LT, adrenalin red, auto, NPP, red brakes, no cf. So I'm just along for the anticipatory ride of a lifetime!

Hey guys I am now at 3400 for the people who have had their cars produced already how accurate was your TPW if you got one? (Earlier/on time/ later) My TPW was December 30th which to me doesn't make much sense if they are going to have the plant closed most of that week.

TPW stands for Tentative Production Week.

For Chevrolet, every TPW begins on a Monday; for example, a first Monday in September would be have that date as a TPW even though many UAW members would not be assembling vehicles but instead would be in or observing parades celebrating Labor Day.

If December 30 is a Monday, and there are work days such as January 2 or January 3 in that week, then a December 3o TPW is perfectly reasonable even though no assembly work will be done from before the Christmas break to New Year Day until January 2.

If there are questions, I am sure I an other members of this Forum will be happy to post answers.

I went to 3400 2 days ago, now if they will only produce it.
Like many, I'm excited as h-ll and can't wait patiently much longer!

I understand, which is why I will never do a retail sold order again.

I assure you I will stick to that vow as the roller coaster ride of ordering, having the order scheduled for production and waiting after it is made for it to be delivered is too much to voluntarily go through.

And I will only break that vow because I want to break it and not for any other reason.

Thanks I always thought it stood for target production week. What I really want to know is how accurate the TPW has been. Did you go 3800 before during or after your projected TPW ?

I'm hoping that the workers at the Bowling Green assembly plant will be nice and refreshed once they return from their long Holiday break to begin assembling my Stingray!

Target is correct; I have substituted "tentative" for the C7 production changes because in my mind it seems most applicable, but "target" is correct.

I have no doubt BG workers will return refreshed and ready to go.
