Can we extend the timer for the auto lock feature?
I have a large lunch box I put in the passenger seat, most of the time by the time I've walked from the passenger side to the driver side to get in the door locks. It's a minor annoyance but I'd like it to not lock for a few more seconds. All I can find is to disable it entirely.

I'm afraid only the exit lighting timeout can be configured (off/30/60/120 seconds), the passive lock timeout is hardcoded. I can just about manage to get to the other side of the car and open the door before it kicks in.
Truth to be told, it's only a minor annoyance, because opening the car again is one extra press of the door handle button away even when I'm "late to the party".

Are you using passive lock or the delay lock? If the former, I don't think there's anything you can do. If the latter, just don't hit the lock button until you have the passenger door open...
