API GL-4 Syncro Shift II for Tremec Trani

I own a 2014 Z51 Convertible with 7 Speed Tremec Manual Transmission. From the beginning I have always experience, what I call notching when shifting from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd. After dozens of visits to various dealers and also having one on one discussion with QC at GM and have made a minor adjustment to the shift lever this issue still persists. Conclusion, the official word from GM is that "this is a normal condition when the transmission is cold". Mind you, the notching also occurs on an intermittent basis when in traffic. Time and time again I find myself having to res/pause in neutral for a fraction of a second before shifting to either 2nd or 3rd gear. Since I know that I am not the only Z51 C7 owner with this issue I was wondering if anyone has ever tried API GL-4 Syncro Shift II SAE 75W-80 Synthetic Gear Oil from BG? One more point: At one time I also contacted the folks at Tremec in Detroit. A tech support specialist at Tremec told me that from my description I may have a synchronization issue. I asked for the gentleman's name and unfortunately I declined. The reason; he did not want GM to know that I had spoken with him.
