R Compounds

I've done some quick looking around but don't see anything offhand. I'm running stock SS (9") rims on all four corners. Without changing rims does anyone know of an R compound tire? I'm hoping to find a 265x40 or 35 x 20 tire to run during AutoX. If not I may try the BFG Rivals in a 20". Thx

Toyo makes 285-35-20 in the R888.
The problem is your factory wheels are a little narrow. You may need to stay away from a "soft compound" tire and run the best high performance tire possible, which will lend you more tire options to choose from.

You need to establish your budget and decide from there. If your budget allowed, 285-35-20 on a 20x10, and 315-30-20 on a 20x11 would be your ideal.

Thx for your reply. I had started another thread looking for some cheap 19x10 wheels. Looks like I've pretty much decided to get some from Forgestar and then get the tires. I appreciate your input.
