I also notice that it doesnt shut off after the car is off. When I get in the car its still on. At this rate, the light or controller's life may be getting cut short?

I cant imagine not having the controller in my car...i would refuse to drive it until I got another.

Anyone know why I may be having this issue?

It shuts off after a bit once the car is off. 30-60 seconds later. And as soon as you hit the unlock button or open a door (I think) it's back on.

i can confirm the shut off and earlier post is right anywhere between 30-60 seconds after you close the door. It turns on the minute you open or unlock your door because power is turned on when you do any of those things and it's in a nutshell wired into your cars original electric system so anytime power anywhere goes on it will turn on. Had it for a few months now in my V6 LLT you will notice a difference and like horizon stated the LLT and LFX ECU's are constantly remapping for fuel efficiency which does cause some momentary timing shifts that will occasionally cause things to react slower it's normal in our cars sadly just part of the CAFE crap we hafta swallow unless we have a tune.

I'm intrigued by this little gizmo, and I'm on the fence. I have a Manual - To me this sounds more like an Automatic upgrade - Am I wrong? I did install a ported throttle body on my car and felt a great increase in throttle response, especially from 1st to 2nd gear. Has anyone with a manual felt a huge increase in response? What can I expect having the throttle body already?

I'm happy to say you are mistaken sir. The upgrade is beneficial to manuals and autos alike. Everyone I know that has it (auto and manual) have said they wished they had done it sooner 🏼

I received mine last week and installed Saturday. Set up is super simple. Set it on sp05 and tested. throttle is a little more responsive, but nothing to brag about. Put it on sp09, throttle is just a little more responsive, but you can tell the difference. Drove the car all weekend on sp06. The more I drive it the more you can tell something is up. I have a 2011 2LT RS and it is quicker on the take off, but just not quite what I was expecting I guess...
