OBDII Shift light
Does anyone make a shift light that connects to the OBDII port?

The AeroForce Interceptor gauges can be programmed to turn the warning lights on at any RPM you want. They read off the OBDII port.

On the HUD display. Switch to the G-Meter, the shift feature shows up at higher rpm. (above 3,000 I think.) It's a horizontal line across the top.

I purchased this OBD II scanner with wideband but have not installed it yet. Based on reviews, it seems to be a really nice product, provides a lot of info via your iPhone, including A/F ratio, 0-60 times, HP rating etc.

I am aware of the little dots in the HUD. I would assume they would be sufficient for driving in a straight line for a few seconds but...... When on the road course or even just some spirited driving around the hills of Tennessee you don't really have time find the dots in the HUD.
The Aeroforce is closest thing I have found so far that is kinda what I am looking for. Which is a simple programmable light that comes on a preset RPM. I may be dreaming but I thought I had seen one that Autometer manufactured. My search continues, lol keep the suggestions coming |
