The V8 definitely does, and I believe the V6 does as well, why do you ask?

any particular reason? I haven't noticed any negative effects associated with it, Im still in break-in period, so I haven't been in V4 mode and mashed the throttle, but everything is transitions smoothly.
Also, don't expect it to go away. Itll only get more draconian as CAFE looms. Be glad we can still get a V8 in a car, and if you want it gone, get it tuned out. |

I only commute about 10 minutes to work, have about 50/50 city/highway driving, and the highway varies from 75-50 mph depending on the stretch. Not to mention, you can accelerate very slightly while in V4 mode (and even more slightly when pointed downhill in V4 mode) |

It's honestly very difficult to tell when it's switching from V8 to V4 mode. You also won't experience any drone. You get a V8 engine that can make 32MPG easily at cruising speed. Win-win.

I don't like AFM on the highway, heavy vibration and shuddering when it goes into V4 mode, around town is fine. The reason I am working with Range again to try and get a working Range device for when I take road trips. Range works great, if it doesn't throw CELs...having another one sent to me by early next week, will report back if the newest module with the newest module eliminates CELs, fingers crossed!

I agree with Megahurtz on this. I can't even tell when mine switches unless I have the screen up that shows it.
