that rear axel ruins the car period
any slight bumps mid corner and your gonna end up in a ditch of your pushing it.. that rear end is it's downfall.. plus the dreaded steering wheel shake that all of my stangs had that is nigh on immposible to cure. |

You don't know how to drive a vehicle with an SRA. And No "steering wheel shake" here.

Why is he on the wrong forum? All of the things he stated are truths. Because you have brand loyalty or more likely, brand blindness, doesn't make the facts any less true.

I have bought cars on the performance instead of the badge many times. To the last part of your statement, I went in blind before purchasing my 1LE, I hadn't had a hobby car since my 2001 Formula, which I sold in 2010. I drove a 2015 A6 Mustang with the Performance Package and a 2015 2SS M6, and debated for a week, before the 1LE I had been eyeballing finally showed up at the dealer. Stock for stock, the SOTP feel for power was dead nuts, the handling, also very close ( not great by any argument for either one), BUT I took from that exchange that the Performance Pack on the mustang "should've" made it handle better IMO. Then.....I drove the 1LE, and it was a no brainier, it was hands down a better handling ride than the Mustang and in the same price range. I love the look of both of the 15's and your choice either way, as long as it makes you happy, is a good one.

With a SRA, it is easy just go straight. Don't get on it in a corner if your car has power, you will slide around. I had enough of that with my "69 Z/28.

No, it's probably because I own a Camaro that I know its weaknesses better than a Mustang owner would. I'm a car enthusiast not a Chevy enthusiast. When comparing the two cars, the Camaro doesn't beat the Mustang under most circumstances. I really love the look of the 2014 GT over the 2015, but with the right mods it looks great. I still think the Camaro is way more of a head turner, and considering I picked it up brand new for less than $20k it was an obvious choice. But it's not necessarily the better car, it's annoying when someone decides their car is simply better because they have one. It's not, no car is the best at everything. Brand loyalty is stupid. Anyone who thinks Mustangs are terrible looking but that Camaros are some of the best looking cars is fooling themselves, they're very similar and both going in the same direction... Direct competition. I don't really like Ford, but I respect what they've done with their cars. That Focus RS is unrivaled next to anything GM has come up with so far. That mustang I don't like as much compared to the last body, but it's still not ugly just because it's not a Camaro

Ford did get money from the FedGov... call it what you want.
"Ford requested a $9 billion line-of-credit from the government, and a $5 billion loan from the Energy Department. It pledged to accelerate development of both hybrid and battery-powered vehicles, retool plants to increase production of smaller cars, close dealerships, and sell Volvo. Ford is in better shape than the other two because it had already mortgaged its assets in 2006 to raise $24.5 billion." |

HELP! I want a Z06 but I still have 1 more year of alimony. The best part is the Z06 payment will be lower than my alimony. Damn her lawyer was good. I'll give him that.

I don't care how fast, lightweight, blah, blah the Mustang is... The C5 Camaro is in a class by itself when it comes to looks. It will become a classic. If you're worried about 1/4 mile times, you can buy a faster car than both of these.
