Mainly to get it out of the way. It hung down too far for my liking and their is a lot of air behind the mirror to move it to!

Earlier we learned that you cannot tap directly into the rear mirror as the additional current draw blows a fuse. There are (12v IGN/GND) wires that are underneath the plastic cover behind the rear view mirror that was meant for the PDR. Will this solve that problem?

That's possible. Anyone else here for further information?

For my install, I tapped the rear fuse box.
