Results of FI and deleting crankcase evac:

Nothing wrong with the turbo piping design, etc. Good Comp turbo....but builder decided they did not need proper crankcase evacuation and deleted the catchcan system and the PCV system. Crankcase pressure pushed enough oil past the rings that the front cylinders hydrolocked and destroyed everything....not even the oil pan is salvagable.

Cannot stress enough how important it is to have the correct designed oil separating evacuation system, and not a band-aid "it's good enough" like we see far to often.

To be honest, I am kinda surprised that the builder of that is still alive and breathing with the amount of shenanigans he has pulled on the 5th gen community as a whole.

Damn! And I was thinking about sending my car to him when he first announced his single turbo kit. I decided to wait and see how things worked out. Glad I didn't!

That won't buff out with any amount of polish.

We at first thought we would be able to use the pan/pick-up, etc for the new long block but even a motor mount was damaged.....
