Nice pics of the tour - thanks! Loved seeing that Buick GN in the mix there too.
I will always have a soft spot in my heart for the Turbo Buicks. Truly awesome cars.

Looks like fun. What was the emergency stop for?
I saw some pictures online, there's a white Z/28 in the mix. Pics were from Arrowhead. |

We put on 2147 miles (arrest free) during our Power Tour adventure.
We have photo proof of said drag race (that I will post once my wife downloads them from her camera), which was fun at the historic Indy track. Here is my dismal 13.2 excuse list. 1. Bad start (2.4 60') 1a. I have negative camber on the rear. 1b. Didn't adjust tire pressure. 1c. Track was oiled down right before my run. 1d. Too much RPM on the line (3500 rpm). 2. Bad air 2a. Over 90 degrees 2b. 80 % humidity 2c. Hot engine 3. Miscellaneous 3a. Too much downforce. 3b. Front toe out slows car down. 3c. Driver adds too much weight. How's that for a list? The Z/28 was well received, with the most popular comments being "I didn't know they built these" and "How does it drive in the wet?" (I have Nitto NT01s). |

I never really understood the Power Tour. Are you guys being paid? Is this a paid gig?

Sorry to hear about your windshield. I hope the end of your trip is less eventful...

Thanks for sharing info and pics! I've always wanted to do the Power Tour but reading some of your posts I question if it's really worth it... Would you do it again?

Pretty sure I saw you at Indy on the racetrack. I just now found this thread though. It was a blast. So many cool things to see, cool cars, etc. This was my third long haul and can't wait to do it again. even my oldest son is planning to do it again but wants to talk his friends into it.
