Sometimes often used locks and keys wear themselves together into a pattern so it's harder to remake a key that works.
In this case I think it's the problem of the chinese keys that are not held to the right thickness so they don't fit. You can find some of the blanks have more complaints about this than others. BTW the cheapo chinese fobs with blanks I got worked fine so we know it doesn't require $$ OEM to work.

Had a second spare made at batteries plus bulbs works perfect and they program it $50 and cut it and try it...… Kept switchblades til one wore out the rubber.... And of course the steering wheel can lock up and then you have to move it sometimes to be able to start the car no matter what the key.....

Having the same issue. New fob unlocks doors but wont turn in the ignition. Got mine used so no spare to change old fob out with. Sucks. Gonna go back to the dealer and see if they can do anything but I think im hosed ��
