I was about 7 years old when my dad came rolling home with a brand new '89 Z28. Ever since I have had to have a Camaro. I remember taking my cousin's '00 4th gen Z28 to prom and dreaming of the day that I could drive my own Camaro home. I am a little disheartened that it will be an SS and not a Z28, but a Camaro it will be!

when my dad's friend who is a dealer got a pic sent to him of the 5th gen like in 2004 it was way off of what the production looks like but i still wanted one

I never like the Mustang (or Ford ) and I don't like foreign sports cars.

When I saw pic of my Dad's old RS/SS....

When I was five, I thought it was the ugliest thing...Purple w/ green racing stripes, and Cragar wheels. I finally aksed him what was up with those colors. Dad finally said with a grin, "Silly that's an old faded poloroid!" "It was blue and gold, not purple!!!"

Im a twin, I came across an old picture of me and my brother when we were about 6 years old in front of a Christmas tree smiling like kids do on Christmas. I was holding a plastic blue Camaro my brother had a plastic red Firebird. We never looked back. Im just glad the Camaro is back. Since then Ive owned two Camaros an 84' Z28 and a 2001 SLP RS, Blue with Silver Stripes.

As I was growing up, a co-worker/close friend of my mom's had a 94(I think?) Dark green camaro, and I always loved it it just looked so clean and muscular. So, when it came time for my first car, I told my dad I wanted a camaro. Well this was a while before the concept was officially unveiled, and there were just a few 'artist renderings' floating around online, so most people were holding on to their camaros pretty tight. I kid you not, we looked EVERYWHERE, and the only ones we could find had some flaw, in one way or another, that prevented my dad from being comfortable with me driving it. So, we found a nice used mustang.

A few months later, we went to the houston auto show, where I saw the red concept for the first time.

That's when I knew

Seeing transformers a few summers later just strengthened my NEED for this car.
