removing the front flex dam (non z51)

If you don't own a floor jack and stands - get them for $100 at harbor freight - invaluable - jack up each side and insert the stand right behind the jacking puck from rpidesigns.com

This is a jacking puck, once inserted, it stays on all the time..nice...

Then with a 7MM socket - take off the flex dam

Done, and this car is lowered on the bolts all the way and still gets over every speed bump or parking ingot....after 3500 miles, there is no marks underneath from any scraping at all...much cleaner looking. And if my coefficient of drag has increased from .40 to .41, I'll get over it....LOL
