More moving parts = more failure.

Why buy a complicated V6 that makes the same HP, same MPG, as a simplistic V8 that will last forever with proper maintence (CHEAP maintence)

I don't think GM will put a TTV6 in a Z/28. They did the dual-mode exhaust for the customer. Louder at idle? Quiter at cruise? Louder at WOT? Yep. Good decision.

the Z/28 will be a NA V8. GM won't screw the pooch on that. They'll lose alot of potential sales.

To the people saying "Better gas mileage" and going with a TTV6 as that being one of the main reasons you'd want it for the next bump in performance (Z28?). Shut up, no seriously shut the **** up. You don't buy a high horsepower car, or want to go really fast, then cry about gas mileage.

A v6 with a Z28 badge would utterly kill the heritage of it, IMO No if's and's or but's.

Shocking....the orginal post (before it was edited) asked about availabilty and cost of the 2014 Camaros. It has now morphed into a V6 vs V8 argument (discusion). Wow...that's something that doesn't happen on almost a weekly basis on this forum.

LF3 doesn't get any better MPG than the LS3.

They should make a sticky thread with that title.

Are you honestly trying to say all things equal you would pick a v6 over a v8 based on sound alone?
Because everyone's goddamn argument base is "sound" when the theory is performance between the two is equal.
