My friend is having a graduation party Saturday evening, so I won't be able to stick around. Can't wait to get on the track again!

Congrats to them! I'll have a kid graduating next year...I hope....LOL

Sorry about being slow to update with ideas about the pre/post party, party.

It sounds like there aren't going to be too many people showing up to the night before gathering so I'm thinking we should meet/hang-out at Torchy's Tacos which is near my house. They have outdoor seating which is right next to their parking too. You know, so we can see the cars as we BS about them. LOL If that gets boring, the house is 5 min from there and we could move there. I've got a set of Quick Jacks if anyone needs to do last min work. I'm still organizing my shop/garage after gutting it and rebuilding it but I can get to everything we might need. I should have some time today to figure out a plan for after the track day.

Parking lot big enough for a trailer? I'll be trailering my car. The track said I can leave there overnight(Friday) but I hate being away from it. Also not sure I want to leave it in the hotel overnight even if its hooked to the truck. Probably do the track thing since its supposed tone secure.

Completely up to you obviously, but if you want to put it in front of my house while we hang out that's all good. The track should be just fine. They have a gate and it's not like their in a high traffic area. Torchy's has no space for a trailer. If you really need to keep it close by the parking lot across the street would be good. I'm thinking you'd be happiest with it at my house or the track. Google it and look at the satellite photos. That's what I do. PM sent

You know, I keep looking at some of y'all's RWHP numbers and I'm thinking I'm going to be hopelessly outgunned with my stock car.....Oh well,... Should be a blast!

Car ran great last weekend at TWS, but the throwout bearing started to go at the end. I have all the parts on order and should be able to get it all back together before the event. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Good luck! I always worry when I have multiple track days close together, if anything goes wrong you've got to rush or be out the money

Yeah that is always a concern, but I don't think it should be a problem to get it back together in time.

What track is that in your picture? It looks like TWS, but not entirely sure.

TWS, my first time to track the Z. Actually on the way back to Houston I developed a misfire on cylinder 7... Had to stop at 3 different auto parts stores to find the problem. Some how the injector wire was not fully connected on #7

Unless they've changed since the last time I was there they check things out the morning of. Biggest thing is to take everything that's not bolted down out of the car. They gave us trash bags to clear out our cars last time. After that they checked everyone's tire pressure then lined up the cars before starting class.
