Please read the bold part and explain how a blob with amazing performance is anything worth being excited about. You can make a minivan fast but it's still a minivan.

According to the Lansing Factory, “they are potentially looking at next week for the end of Camaro production”. No specific date yet.

Isn't it obvious that it's possible to enjoy and get excited about a wide variety of vehicles made for different purposes and from many different manufacturers?

Chevrolet ended the Camaro they way I expected they would. The fact that they built the ZLE was nothing short of stunning to me.

The great thing is that GM is still a company and they may choose to make more terrific cars in the future. I hope they will be allowed to do so.
It seems like the better people understand EVs, the less they want to own one. I think there's a good chance some laws will be changed and allow a less restrictive future. |

Don’t blame Mary, GM killed the Camaro because of the EPA. To meet emissions requirements they are limited in V8 sales. GM chose pickups, large suvs, and Corvettes over the Camaro for those V8 allocations because they have higher profit margins.

It is 100% true. I just showed you proof, what have you shown?
Also, typing in large caps doesn't mean I'm screaming. Get a grip. I'm trying to make sure people see it and stop thinking that production has already ended. |

We should be blaming all the poser guys who are buying heavy, V8 powered pickup trucks when they don't need one (aren't a farmer or a construction worker who frequently need to haul lots of stuff; they just want to look cool). In effect those guys are wasting V8s. Those V8s would be better allocated into a lighter weight vehicle (Camaro, etc) where the thrust to weight ratio can provide better enjoyment. |

in effect the explosion of truck and suv sales in the late 90s helped kill the Camaro the last time.
