My dealer called me on Friday and told me my car was at the Alameda train yard(just on the other side of the bay) and should be at the dealership on Monday. I live in the San Francisco bay area so I find it odd that I'll be one of the first to take delivery living on the west coast.

everything in the first transit release should arrive between Monday and Friday of this coming week.... "normal" transit time is 14'ish days from release to transit at the factory to the dealer's lot. this is pretty much today's standard on all models/manufacturers for some reason.

All sounds good guys i'm hopfully gonna buy somthing off the lot just looking for the blue and a 6 banger . dont want to put to many miles on my challenger LOL.

i am seriously getting frustrated with GM. These cars need to start getting to the public. I find it hard to fathom how NO ONE except for hendrick has gotten their car yet.

apparetly someone in Ajax did. My cousin called today to wish me happy bday and asked when i will get my camaro. Then he said that his freinds dad has one and that he saw it. beforre i even asked what colour, he said " It was redy-orange" lol so i was like dam, this sounds promising. I asked him when his friends dad got one, and he said like first week April . But then i was like, they were all put on quality hold, does his dad work for GM? And my cuxzin said no, that he just bought one. So i told him to get pics and to try to arrange a meet up.
My cuzin is one year younger then me, and would nver lie, so im hoping to see this as a delivery  well see

There is a post over on 5thgen that says that someone has their car.
http://www.5thgen.org/forum/showthread.php?t=12223 Peoria is just down the road from me and I was suprised to hear this. A scan of the VIN database shows only 2 possible cars in Indiana. Also another person posts about a person in St Louis area getting their car. No pictures with VINs so who knows. We need to have a post about the first official confirmed delivery. Fun times  Robin

One of the early VINs showed a car going to Puerto Rico. There's a recent video on youtube of a Camaro driving around in PR. Don't think there would be any CTF's down there, so it could possibly be some rich guy who got theirs already?
