2010 2ss/rs value?

Gents - looks like I might be moving on and moving into a different platform. 2021 Sierra Elevation x31. I understand dealer trade in value is not great but is $18000 CAD a fair trade value? Thats about 14,300USD.

2010 2ss/rs - Inferno Orange - 6spd 6.2. Fully optioned. 73,000kms.

18,000 due to trade in tax value (as if i gave them 20,700 CAD cash down)

Thoughts?

More than it should be, but used car values are up a lot now. I'd be happy with that if I were you.....

Yup, Id say thats about right for the market at this point.
They will probably list it $26k.
I have been waiting for depreciation to bring them down to where I can get into a 2011 SS vert, but prices are still climbing, about $5k more than when I started looking.
It does depend on location though. Here in GTA is probably more, while the east and west are still a bit lower.

18k is fair value.

At 12 years old and an original sticker of about 50k for a 2SSRS the depreciation cycle would be 40k after 1year 36k after 2yrs 32k after 3 and 5% for every year after.

You could try to hold out for a private sale and get 20k or so.

Have fun with your new truck.

$50k for a 2SSRS? It was $34k for one. I paid mine $30k out the door in April 2011 from Buffalo NY Chevy dealership

Canadian prices. My 2011 2SS RS stickered for $47,155.

I went for a test drive at Paddock Chevrolet in Buffalo. White with orange stripes and seats.

Ah I didn’t look at your location. When you put prices being in another country you should state $50kCAN

You probably will get back most of what you paid as they were giving about 18-20k trade value back then also. Good buy!

IDK.. I think $14K USD is low right now.. all depends on the condition to be honest. Post pics for a more accurate view. You might be leaving $$ on the table.

They’ll go up in value. They’re about to be dinosaurs.will they quadruple in value? I doubt it but they’ll go up. Their like the last NA motors you can get basically.

Sorry guys I figured Niagara Falls would give it away that I live in the Peoples Republic of Canada under the watchful guard of Chairman Trudeau

The 2SSRS was just under 50k here back then.

Now they are close to 65k for 2021 even the stripper LT1 is 51k or so

No worries, in 2010 nearly all the 2SSs in FL were listing at the dealer for 45k because GM assumed more people would go for the six, which did eventually happen, just not the first year.
