Removing Sound System

Well i'm working on the 2011 Camaro ss and Removing that JX 1000 amplifier subwoofer everything else, just wondering what to with it? All the paperwork is the glove department.

Sidenote" putting in a Bose sound system, prefer just good quality sound.

I'm assuming you bought it used, and the previous owner installed it. They don't come with Subs.

- Press and hold the preset button 2 & 3 or 1 & 4 for older radios, about 6 to 9 seconds Until the first 2 or 3 digits of the display code are displayed.
- Write the numbers down.
- Press the AM/FM button; write down the next 2 or 3 numbers.

Convertibles do.

My stock sub and the new infinity one. Had to change the junk factory amp when we replaced the head unit and all the speakers.

Yeah it was installed, i ended up taking the Camaro SS to an audio car specialist and they re-ran all the wiring to factory standard...
And it wasn't cheap to fix.
