True but I don't want to move too much material from the bump stop and have the car have issues because I messed up. I have read too many horror stories of that, and want to do it the right way.

There is a differance between the consistancy of an hand ported unit and the quality of CnC ported thottle body.
We've seen a 7-12 RWHP gain from the Vmax CnC ported thottle body. Im not sure you can feel 7 RWHP on the WOT butt dyno, but the throttle response is documented in 100's of threads and over 5000 units sold. Phil www.TampaTuning.com |

Ported TB DEFINATELY makes a difference
Three weeks ago I installed a ported tb, cold air intake, an air scoop,
and pulled fuses for 13 hours on my 2010 SS L99. I run on 21" staggered Pirelli P-Zero's. MagnaFlow axle back. I complained on this forum about how laggy my car was before I made the upgrades. Holy Cow it is a different car! If I'm not careful, the car will fish tail making a left or right turn!! It is super aggressive on the throttle, and the power. ( The rear end REALLY wants to beat the front end!!! ) And the sound is INSANE. It definitely adds more torque. But not a lot. I wish I got more torque and may upgrade my differential in the future. According to the cars computer I am getting about 2.7 mpg more than I used to. I haven't analyzed my gas receipts yet but it 'feels' like I am getting better mileage. If u want to make ur car a sled. Make these upgrades!!! BTW: I added the TB a day or two b4 I added the intake and scoop and yes u can feel an improvement w/ just the tb and a fuse pull.

I just installed the BBK 95mm over the weekend and there is a noticeable increase in throttle response. Overall I'm satisfied with it.

Unless i'm mistaken, they are all the same price, regardless of where you buy it. They are all done the same so quality won't vary from vendor to vendor. Some offer free shipping or other things so shop around.

You could always buy it from BER especially since they take returns on anything they sell. Pretty sure they will pay the return shipping too. They have some pretty sick gains shown over on the vette forum along with their ported manifold. Still not as cheap as "The source" though. For $75 you can't go wrong.

As long as its not a holiday, and now that we aren't completely buried in snow, its almost always same day turn around, worst case the next day after it is received it will be shipped back to you.
