Biggest foe?? Mustang, Challenger, etc..?
assuming chevy builds a v6 and ls2 version of the camaro, what will be its biggest competition?
If they stick close to this concept the camaro will have all the other cars beat in looks dept. for sure (and thats coming from a mustang owner) |

The challenger literally had its 5-minutes of fame. That came out first and because it was the only concept car that used old muscle car cues it was a huge hit with everyone. I loved it too, but then chevy quickly struck back with the camaro and after looking at the 2 sidebyside its no question the camaro concept blows it away in styling. The camaro is modern with retro cues to keep its roots in tact, while the challenger looks very much like an older car which I think will look extremly dated in a year or two as all fad styling does. Too me, i'm way over the challenger already. If this camaro never came out, I think dodge would have had a runaway hit. But now I think they have a failure of a car on their hands unfortunatly. We will see tho...

Challenger supposed to be a low production car like only 30,000 of them a year or something. Mustang will be more of a real competition

I would say that the price for the LS2 will be high but for the true Camaro enthusiast , the price really won't matter.

as for gas prices, everyone should stop bitchin, your still gonna buy it, and if your that worried about it, buy a scooter or something. My 94 z isnt that bad on gas, and i live in a fairly good sized town.

by the time the new camaro makes production, the mustang will probably have to to through a minor redesign. the charger is going to cost more and less made, so more prestigous

I really dont think there will be that much competition. The rice burners are a different style of vehicle all together. and you can get one of those at the local toy store. the camaro is real mucle and has always been better than the mouse-stang (personal opinion of course) The charger and the challenger are both too weak in design and style to compare. So the Camaro will be King again...
