Speedmaster PCE Diff Cover Question

So I was going to install a new diff cover on my Camaro with JRE main caps to kinda help futureproof things and was looking for someone with some experience with this thing. In the attached pictures there's a square held in place with an allen key screw where the vent attaches and pictures of inside of the square as well.

My question is, I'm assuming because it's rounded in the corner to fit the load bolt, so it does remain in place during install right? I was comparing it to the factory diff cover and the vent holes just seem small to me, so I thought I'd ask folks with a little more experience with this cover or more experience dealing with differentials. Thank you in advance!
