20 inch factory rim plasti dip issue - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

The plasti dip didnt hold up well on the interstate anybody else seen this issue? Should I apply differently? It looks like the tire flexed against the rim and rubbed on the plasti.

You're going to kind of run into that with the tire flexing. If I were you, get some mineral spirits and a rubber glove, lightly dampen your finger with the mineral spirits and "smooth" out the jagged edges. It will sort of melt back together. Then you can re-mask and touch it up.
