98 Octane

Living in Dubai, I'm lucky enough to be able to feed my Camaro with 98 Octane

I just received a Predator Tuner today. but the max fuel option is 93? Shall I just use that one?

Just because the gas has a high octane count doesn't mean you'll neccessarily make more power. While the octane ceiling doesn't hurt, I still wouldn't run tons and tons of timing.

Is that 98 rating RON or MON? Or is it (R+M)/2?

yeah, due to the different rating system used over there, your 98 octane rating over there is equivalent to our 93 octane over here in the U.S...

If that is true about the rating system then it's okay but generally speaking, the higher octane beans you have a slower burn which means you have less amount of combustion per minute which means you may have an overall less in power. It doesn't hurt the motor, but it may give you less over all power.

most those countries all use RON
98 oct RON = 94 oct (R+M)/2 [us oct rating system]
so there is no difference.. just use the 93oct
