To me, it looks like a lot of cars coming out....you know, where they let one designer (team) design from the front through the doors, then they let another designer (team) draw from the doors to the back. Slap them together and see what you get.....
The other "design method" I think so many automakers have been using is spend a lot of time designing the front and the middle of the car, then with a week before it's supposed to debut somewhere, "just slap some nasty looking back end on the thing and roll with it". Half the time, it looks like they had something really decent going and then just chopped it off at the back to "finish it up in time". For the record, Dodge has had this idea (small, lightweight, 2 seat, roadster) for awhile now (Razor, Demon, others), they just haven't executed it. They should....maybe the new ownership will get it out the door and start taking some of those Mazda/Honda sales. |

Yeah, but what would you expect for $15K? If they can do it at that price, it will sell like the original Miata did. Way over sticker, but there won't be one left on a dealer's lot anywhere. $15K for a roadster with decent looks and performance that will still get 25mpg? People will buy that to have a decent gas mileage car in their garage and drive something else in the winter months (for those of us that have that problem). Shoot, you could almost get 2 of them and put them in the same garage.....lol. |

Dodge has been hit and miss with styling, imho. The charger and avenger nitro and this thing
engines, performance, interiors, and reliability are all seperate issues though |

Personally, I like the Demon, and if I wasn't in the market for a Camaro I'd consider buying one (this Cerebus thing irks me). However, I like the Sky better, and it's a GM...
I see it this way...extreme coincidences, or lack of Chrysler originality... Chevrolet Corvette (in it's full awsomeness): Saturn Sky (a mini-Vette - lutz even said it took cues from it's cousin): Now for the un-original part (as I see it) Dodge Viper (in it's full...something): and the Dodge Demon (see the connection I'm trying to make?) |

As much as I may get 'boo'd' for this...
I find the Sky FAR more attractive than the Corvette. Ever since they exposed the headlights on the Corvette I haven't liked it at all. |

I can see that. I won't 'boo' you , I find the Sky very attractive, too. I've just always liked the Vette's essence, what it was - An Icon. I don't think it changed (the 'essence') when they exposed the lights, though.
