They shouldn't have been running from the police. I hope their families can get through this R.I.P.

You cannot outrun a radio idiots...they will catch you.

And no respect for destroying a beautuful car that did it's job perfectly...the passenger compartment is intact...seatbelts would have had this story ending with "both suspects are now in custody."

Sad. And VERY DUMB.

Wouldn't the seat belt alarm have driven them crazy or could they have disabled it?
If they were drunk and running fromt he cops I think a seat belt alarm was the last thing they were worried about. Probably too drunk to realize what it was.

No sympathy for idiotic acts like this.

Yes, probably true, however, they have family & friends...so although they were (past tense) idiots, they will be missed.

Comfort to their families & friends :(

Very sorry for the car and families of the two people.

Not sorry the two people are dead, they were stupid and got what they deserve.

If you want to look for the silver lining, the passenger compartment is in great shape, so the Camaro did it’s job to protect the occupants. Regrettably the passenger didn’t take their responsibility and paid the price for their mistakes. The story didn't release the identity of the driver, so maybe it was stolen, I would hate to think that a Camaro owner was that foolish.

I think the reporter was still drunk too......

"The yellow Camero was traveling at a high rate of speed when the driver exited onto westbound Route 10 and lost control, according to police."

Drinking + Driving + Running from the PoPo = Not a good idea, unless you have the common sence God gave Mayo. Thank God it was only the drunks that were injured or killed by their own stupidity.

Speed + stupidity = death. This past summer we had a car with three teenagers in it try to out run the cops for something stupid. Took a corner too fast and two of them were killed. If you get caught doing something stupid man up and take the punishment, don't endanger others lives
