I think I saw an "upbadged" ZL1
I noticed the car at the gas station. It had Zl1 on the back but the hood looked like a stock V6 hood. His license plate said ZL1(something) I just found the hood to be really weird for a ZL1. Just a stock V6 hood. Was wondering if it was possibly upbadged. Just seemed interesting/weird.

No way it was a ZL1, not unless they changed the entire front clip as the hood, front nose and fenders are different on the ZL1 from the other Camaro models.

Why didn't you snap a photo with your smartphone? Maybe it was a refreshed zl1...? But that would mean the zl1 hood will soon be on the RS... yay!

Yeah sorry about the no picture evidence. I was mostly concerned about the reasoning to modifiying the front of a ZL1 to... not look like a ZL1? I would imagine that if one was to upbadge and add it into their license plate that they would make a greater effort into giving the illusion of driving a ZL1
