If they can get a unique n/a engine and DSSVs for less than the ZL1, I can see CCBs and carbon aero pieces being an option.

On this Independence Day I couldn't think of a better way to to greet the Houze than Kate Smith and the first radio broadcast of God Bless America.

If you watch through, you'll see a B-25 fly by that my father flew in WWII and a brief appearance by an actor that would become President.

We celebrated Independence Day with the customary pomp, circumstance, 'splosions, and inevitable food coma here.

I hope all of my Houze bretheren enjoyed the same.

So, what about the new Z ringydingy times?

The more info they give now, the less there is for them to give later -and the less they have to give later, the more boring the wait will be until production starts.

I remember reading about the 5.2 Voodoo pretty early on in the 6th gen Mustang. I'm surprised we haven't heard anything about a new LTx, if there is one for the Z/28.

As it is so easy to hide under the hood and as long as you keep your team small and quiet anything is possible.

Yes, you would have suppliers and a lot of folks involved but if you simply tell a supplier they are working on an LT1 they wouldn't know either.

But keeping an engine program secret is not that hard as long as everyone involved stays quiet.

The GS class in the Continental Tire series has only 4 cars in the most recent race, huh?

Figures. It used to be my favorite series.

The GTD class in the Weathertech series continues to grow. Maybe they are moving there?
