It's normal for her to shiver a little when she's cold

The SS definitely shakes a bit on cold starts compared to most cars, even the V6 does it a bit but not as commonly.

Good advice to hammer on it before the engine warms up. (sarcasm)

I never start driving as soon as I start it, always let it warm up a bit. When I had my 2000 Trans Am I always let it warm up to the first hash mark on the gauge which was marked 100°

With direct inject engines, there's no point to letting your car "warm up", supposedly it's even bad for the engine anyway. Just drive it normally and DON'T hammer it until it's at operating temp.

Well yesterday was my first fill up tank, sponsored by the dealer, because they give me the car the past friday with less than a quart of gas, they gave me a coupon, but was for a 91 oct gas, they said all the new cars comes with that grade, so i said no way give 93 oct gas, so i went yesterday to fill up, and when i start the engine, was shaking, the past days only shakes the shift because mine is manual, but today the car shakes complete, so maybe it could be the gas octane grade.
