Just had mine done with 16k on it....literally 2 weeks ago. Price was around 2900, but already had Kook's headers. Also included a catch can, upgraded plug wires and a few other things. Put only about 300 miles on it since I have got it back and love every minute of it.

Personally I go performance first. I get more excitement out of driving my car vs looking at it.

I mostly drag race the car so my only concern with adding power before traction is the car will be harder to launch than it is now. Maybe I am wrong it's a m6 and there seems to be a fine line between bogging and spinning. I don't like to ride the clutch out a lot I don't side step it just come off of it quick for consistency.

Guys run 6's on 275 tires lol. 60rwhp isn't going to make the car unmanageable for you.

Purchased the car used at 14k - the cam went in at 24k... SS1 from GPI... This is how the car should have come from the factory!

Had mine installed at about 8000 miles. Cost about $3100 to get it done. I currently have about 11,200 miles.
I was pleased how well it did and held up last weekend at Texas World Speedway. Did about 200 miles in 2 days of mostly pedal to the metal fun, hitting speeds of 100-140mph about 100 times over the two days, kept rpms from 3-6.5K pretty much the full time. Only averaged about 8mpg though.
One of my big concerns with getting cammed was if it would be able to handle serious use like that. I have absolutely no concerns now - it kicked butt and held up great.

Had mine done right before winter at 24,000 the cost of the cam and install isn't to bad it's all the supporting mods. You said rims and tires witch I did cause I had no traction no fun if you can't put it to the ground. I had to do suspension and the list goes on. Once the cam goes in the mod bug starts and the money flys out the window. But worth every dime love my car all over again oh and go big otherwise you'll regret it.

I cammed mine at 42,000 miles and cost around $2300 doing it myself.
