Warped rotor

4100 miles and when I brake hard I feel the right front vibrate. It's worse when the brakes are hot.

The rotor feels like it's warped a little. <5k miles and already warped? Is this a problem with anyone else out there?

Any suggestions on what to replace the OEM rotor with?

Sincde it under warranty, I would take it 2 the dealer. no reason for it to have warped..... unless you drive with your foot on the brake.

Every car with disc brakes that I ever owned eventually had the rotors warp, although not after 4,000 miles. The only exception to that was my C5 with 60,000 miles and now my C7 with 10,000 miles. Neither has warped.
PS: I am light on brakes and they usually last 100,000 miles for me without replacement of pads.

It's usually caused by hard braking.

My Dad is either full Go or full Stop. It's like riding in a drag car.

He's constantly complaining about his rotors getting warped and then replaced.

I try to explain to him what's going on, but you can't tell his generation anything.

So the dealer said it was under warranty and claimed to have replaced all of the rotors (or at least that's what they billed GM for).

It seems to be ok now and I don't notice the pulsations anymore, but:
-the rotor in question is clearly not new. I can still see/feel a groove in it.
-the car has 27 more miles than when I dropped it off
and it's dirtier than when I dropped it off as well.

Does it take 27 miles to test drive for a warped rotor?
It's annoying that they claimed to have put on a new rotors, when they didn't, but if the car is working does it matter? What would you do? It took them a week to "fix" the issue the first time, I don't want to waste another week taking it back or to a different dealer.

It would matter to me. Used rotors by definition will not last as long as new ones!

Used rotors and 27 more miles!? To me that would be unacceptable. I would have a nice chat with the service and general managers. GM pays the dealers for using new parts, not used. This sounds pretty shady. I would look for a different dealer for service.

Rotor issues are not new with the 2014 Stingray. A friend had the rears replaced but it didn't solve the problem. The fronts were replaced next and that cured the problem. Dealer told him GM would not allow an all four rotor replacement, just two at a time.
After a run down to Bowling Green with two stops for some "track time" the problem came back. Dealer checked the car and found the front rotors were warped, again. They will be replaced again.
The Stingray is designed to be tracked. Rotors should not warp with light track duty.
P.S. A 27 mile road test to check rotors is not a road test. It's a joy ride. Shame on the tech at the dealer.
