I'd love to do it but even if it's only 600.00 I'd still have to fly there, hotels on the way home .....
I still haven't figured out how I'm gonna afford the car so the extras will have to stay in my dreams for now. Like someone earlier mentioned, "you only live once" so we'll see. |

BG isn't far from where I grew up (Jackson, TN) so it's a no-brainer for me. It'll be a little more $ but worth it I'm sure. Plus 2 days to take some back roads home and get the know the car a little.

I had it installed on our ZL1 and will put it on our C7 but it might take a little bit of time for the installers to get the computer cut outs for the new car.

Any other attractions around the factory area? Enough to make a vacation out of it?

The Kentucky Bourbon trail lots of cool tours of the bourbon factories... Bunch of cool cave tours. Abe Lincoln's cabin is around there... also Bowling Green is only about 45-60 minutes north of Nashville. Plenty to do in the area

I was considering going there just to see the museaum, but they already closed it to visitors to gear up for the C7. If I get a C7, I'm doing the museaum delivery. If I get a Z06 or a ZR1, I'm doing the engine build.

I'd definitely do the museum delivery and I'd love to do the engine build experience but it's $5800

If you go to Chevrolet's website and build your own Corvette it pops up as one of the options. I thought the museum delivery option would also show up but I didn't see it. |
