A Moment in History, 1 year ago January

For those of you who were unable to attend, here is a video I took with my digital camera, sorry for the quality but it serves the purpose!

WOW! I cannot believe it's been over a year already!

Seems like yesterday that I was anxiously awaiting the debut.

Thanks

Did you hear the rumble of the LS2 as it passed me in the video? He gave it the gas a couple of times as he went by. Made me proud to think we made that engine. Have you ever seen grown ups cry at the sight of a car? I have. There was soooo much hooting and hollaring, the place was packed.

That is pretty cool. What is your job at GM Powertrain?

I work at the Engine plant in St. Catharines, Ontario and I do the registration for our Show & Shine Event in August on Friday the 10th. This includes a Plant Tour, so register a GM Powered vehicle and come and see where the LS2, LS3, LS4, LH6 and a wack of other engines are built. Who knows, you might see some surprises if you know what you are looking for (at). Unfortunately, I won't be there for the S & S because I will be in Detroit for the 40th. Anniversary of the F-Body!!!!!
