Toyo R888Rs on my street wheels.
Mickey ET Street R radials on my drag wheels.

The R888Rs hook decent in 2nd if you roll into it. Useless in 1st gear.
The Mickeys hook great at 17psi from a dig. I’m ~750 wheel now.

My car makes a smidge over 800 and I'll blow the tires off as soon as boost hits in 2nd. 1st gear is uselss. I have MP4S on 285. I do think MP4S in 315 would probably be pretty good but not what im looking for. My next rear tire will be the Mickey Street SS in 305.

Can the Toyos work OK in wet conditions?

Honestly I have no idea. They're a 100 TW tire so super soft. They have to be better than drag radials in rain.

This in the rain? No, its not going to perform well.

You either hook or keep your ability to drive safely in the rain. There is no both unfortunately. Not that I have found.

@CamaroDreams76, you are going to find that sidewall is going to help you the most(more the better). The MTs will still absolutely be an upgrade but if its on a 20inch wheel you are going to spin those too (albeit less often) hitting boost up to 4th gear. I know I did. I had to go ET Street R and 17s. Basically unlocked full throttle in 2nd gear on the street and if they are heated up a bit 1st gear, which is nuts.

Yeah, I think I'm probably just going to go with the PS 4S. I'm not going balls to the wall on the street, anyway, but I want more traction than I'm getting now. Hopefully, going from the PSS to the 4S, and going to 315s, will help a tad.
