69supersport396 That Chevelleabration at Moss Wright Park is hosted by ACES and the president if ACES is a college buddy of my husband & mine. Small world. We had storms here last night with damage is lots of places & one death in Ky. We were lucky & had no damage at my house. Supposed to be a pleasant day. Hope everyone has a good day.

Supposed to be 94 in Seattle today, that means it will probably hit 100 at my house. :( On days like this, I appreciate working in a nice air conditioned building! There may be some thunderstorms this weekend, I just might sit at home and enjoy them
The furballs at my house were panicking last night because I forgot to buy cat food.... Had to go to the store at 10pm, or they would have kept me up all night! Here's 2 of them lounging near the a/c the other day:

I have no plans for the weekend. Weather here should be beautiful sunny and mid 70's. I will get my truck back maybe tomorrow but more likely on Mon. I need to do some work on the winter car this may be a good weekend to do that.

Wow, Jeanette, sorry of the miserable weather. Without central A/C in everything, we desert dwellers wouldn't be here either.

How do we survive? by staying inside during the day and doing everything we have to do very early in the morning or very late after dark. I't not unusual to see people pushing kids in strollers at 5 AM or 10 PM. No one in their right mind is out at 11 AM doing that.

This is also why I have cabin fever and am starting to go crazy .

Chuck is a great guy and a great friend. LaRae is great too. Haven't seen them since we moved.

Rained here all night and it's cloudy today. Got a feeling I won't be going to the car show tonight.

Guess the weather will dictate what I do this weekend.

I almost gave my daughter the middle name of LaRae. She used to work at the hospital with my mother where my daughter was born. But my mother liked Michelle better. Yeah, they are good people. We see him sometimes at WalMart but don't get to hang out with them like we used to. Hope the weather allows you to get out & have some fun

Hurrah for the weekend! It was another really busy day & I had computer work to do at home, but I am really glad to have a couple days to do what I want. Hope everyone has a good weekend. Here is a pic of Red Raider & me with a nice sunset background at the Fest.

I had intentions of going to Valdosta to the dragstrip last night but it was raining so hard I decided to stay home. I got this video from one of the folks that did go.
