2014 GM Performance Lineup
I watched the last part of the live presentation of the new 2014 performance models from Chevrolet at the new York Auto Show.the first one on stage was od course the 2014 Stingray, followed by the new SS. Then came the Stingray convertible and then the new 2014 Camaro. I forget the head guy that was there, but he said if you want a 2 seater sports car there is the Corvette, or a rear wheel drive high performance sedan there is the SS or a 2+2 Pony car there is the Camaro, but there was one more car to bring out and it was the all new Z28 Camaro. This car is designed to straight to the track. It has no carpeting or padding in the trunk, the rear glass is a thin light weight glass and it come with out A/C or radio (I believe you can order them, but they will be an option) and it is powered by the LS7 rated somewhere around 500 Hp. Here is a link to the video

I think I was the only one who didn't really watch it because I was too busy getting the Z/28 thread on C5 up.

A brand new spankin' SS at a local dealership... this is pretty nice especially inside. Plus add the new features and it makes the 5th gen Camaro SS seem kinda archaic.

And the dash is cool... also the flat bottom wheel. This is a sports sedan that looks great in person... very roomy too. Made me thought of swapping the Camaro SS for this SS in Phantom Black Metallic.
