I told him I wouldn't pay over msrp, as long as he keeps his word on that I have no problems buying from him whenever it comes out.

HA! Production will be very limited....sure. Let's see...100,000 plus per year? ...... unless they make only a quarter of those Z28's and SS's. Now, that would be somewhat limited for a top end model. I think the majority of us out there are going to want the top model depending on price, insurance, gas prices, etc. I pray there is enough to go around. There should be. It's just going to be a waiting game.

Maybe the dealer I spoke with isn't full of BS on a early release date:

I could see that happening. It's just like now. It's 2006, but the dealers are already getting 2007 models. That could very well happen w/ this one too. I don't see why they can't push up the date. They said themselves that if they are pushed enough, they can put off other projects to speed others up. We'll see...it could happen, for sure.

I see the camaro in a stalemate idea. The new camaro might come out fall of 08 , but not before . the reason is simple, the gm line-up for next year has to be strong enough to carry this car to us and the car is not even in production yet. we might get to see the real look and feel for it in 07 but not sooner.GM has a tendency to over do their gumph and give big news that falls short of thier promise. ( in 04 gm said : the new 06 monte carlo ss was supposed to be rear wheel drive and a supercharged model was supposed to be offered too)

remember also the economy is not that strong right now and the price of gas might go up to $4.00 a gallon soon if the oil companies have anything to do with it.

I also don't see the economy getting any better anytime soon (remember in 2010 president is out and we are still in a big war situation .

I see it coming out early, but only a few months, fall of 08' sounds about right. Just think they have to get all the tooling and assembly line ready so maybe a few months early!

Peckerheads...and apparently there were quite a few more doing the same auctions. Well, I guess if it has to happen, let these fools shell out their cash and go into debt. Meanwhile, I'll sit back and just wait my turn (for MSRP). I hope they get all their orders screwed up and end up having to wait forever. Morons.......just keep screwin it up for everyone else....

OK...so from what I've read, we can report these dealers on ebay to the ebay claims people. Go to the auction and click on the link to report them. It will ask why and you should click the fraudulent claim. If they get enough complaints, they're sure to remove the ads. They are selling a promise and not an item. After all, they don't have any true info on the Camaro and are using concept pictures. According to ebay, this is fraudulent. Why they don't immediately take the auction off, I don't know, but it's worth a shot. These auctions finished, but I will report every one that comes up.

thats so stupid. these people must really be intelligent to pay for a car they know nothing about except the fact it is going to be produced. i talked to a couple guys at one of my dealerships here in ohio and they told me no mark up (at least for me) since ive done so much business with them. im in
