Tire questions
How many miles can I expect to get on the Michelins my 2015 C& Z51 came with? When it comes time to replace them what is the best way to go?

Bulos, I have about 24000 miles on my factory tires, and there is plenty of life left in them. I expect to reach 35K-40K before they're done. That includes a lot of spirited driving, but no track days. As for replacements, I have a set of Michelin AS3s I bought for last winter. I will likely put those on next. They ride more comfortably, and I can then drive the car year round, regardless of outside temperature. I'm not likely to track my Stingray, so the slight loss in performance in those conditions is moot.

I ran thru a set of Michelin Super Sports on my Twin Turbo Flex (that were 8% smaller diameter than stock). They lasted over 30K... Best DAMN tire I have ever owned. Now have them on both of my G8's as well as my new VYZ51 Vette. Rears may wear out faster depending on your Burnout style!!!!

Bulos, you are absolutely correct - it gets quite cold here in the winter (zero and sometimes below!) and we can get a lot of snow. Last year the Stingray was my daily driver, and had to get around regardless of the weather. Good thing I got the AS3's as we saw temps in the teens below zero, and several snow events with 8"-12" of the white stuff! The AS3's never let me down once, even on unplowed streets. And at $1200 installed at my dealer, the price certainly was right.
This year I bought a used 4x4 Silverado, and we barely got any snow. Go figure.
