How to get throttle body to open fully at launch?

Anybody logged their launch and found the throttle body doesn't open 100% until over 30 mph?

Would like to know the fix.

Yes I have logged many runs. Throttle opens immediately for me.

^ I'm missing so many pids when I look at your log. Want to share the file that configures those pids?

Did you tune yours yourself? Sure would be interested in seeing your file.

I was just in my hptuners file from my tuner this week and saw he had all Traction Management traction control turned off. I turned back on the ETC portion as I'm afraid of it getting away from me on the street. I have to wonder if traction control could be involved in your complaint. From what little I read the button might not turn off the traction control despite the indication it is off.

Yes tuned myself. But always has gone full throttle instantly on request. Mine is an M6. Is yours automatic? Automatics have some torque management. The M6 doesn't seem to have any from the factory. Also I drag race mine with just the traction control off, Stabilatrac still on. If you use PTM modes it will pull some throttle trying to maintain traction.

Mine is an automatic. I always launch with the traction control button off but have not tried disabling it in my file. I'll give that a try!

On the street with my factory tires I have to start about 20 mph in 4th gear paddle due to lack of traction but I feel it is about the same test as launching from zero. I get the same poor throttle response anyway.

Here's my results. With traction control on and off. Appears to be about the same. Initially 100% throttle then dropping before going 100% again at about 33 mph. And this was in 4th gear paddle starting about 20-22 mph. And as it hits 100% timing advance drops.

The files won't download so if anybody wants to see them post or PM me your email address.

Bryan, I added Commanded Throttle Actuator just so I see 100% and compare it to Throttle Position. Don't know why they read differently.
